  • Click Upload Image, then select your cut file from your estimator.
  • With an SVG file, the designer has already done all the work of creating different layers and telling the design file where to cutting. All you need to practice now is name your pattern and relieve it! Cricut as well allows you to create tags for your design so that you tin find it easily in the time to come.
  • Later on you lot save your image, y'all'll be taken to a screen where you see all of the images that yous take uploaded. Click the image y'all would like to use and so click Insert Image.

How To Upload a PNG to Cricut Design Space

  • Click on Upload in the left-mitt toolbar.
  • Click Upload Image, then select your cut file from your computer.
  • Choose whether your blueprint is simple, moderately complex, or complex. For most designs, I observe that simple works fine for almost designs unless you are planning a Print and Cut project. Click Go on.
  • If your PNG has a transparent background, and then the work will all be done for selecting the areas that yous desire cut. If not yous will have to click in all the white areas where you don't desire your design to be.
  • Click Go on then salve your image as a cut file. After you save your image, you'll be taken to a screen where you see all the images that yous have uploaded. Click the prototype yous would like to use and then click Insert Image.

How To Upload a JPG to Cricut Design Space

  • Click on Upload in the left-manus toolbar.
  • Click Upload Paradigm, and then select your cut file from your computer.
  • Choose whether your design is unproblematic, moderately circuitous, or complex. For almost designs, I detect that simple works fine unless I desire to apply it as a Print and Cut image. Click Go on.
  • Click on the areas of the prototype that y'all want to remove. Since the background isn't transparent, you will demand to tell the Cricut where to cut.
  • In this case, of the photo in a higher place I clicked on the expanse to the exterior of the pattern, then started clicking on the white spaces inside of the hand signing the letter of the alphabet A. You lot would want to do this with all of the white spaces then inside each paw, each piece of finger, and the messages in DREAM.
  • Click the Preview button to see what your cutting file will look like and to make sure y'all haven't missed any areas. Click Hide Preview to go dorsum to the regular view.
  • Click Continue and then save your prototype every bit a cut file.
  • After you salvage your image, you lot'll exist taken to a screen where you can come across all the images that y'all have uploaded. Click the prototype you would like to apply and so click Insert Image.

When uploading a jpg or png you will take a single color design, unless you save it as a Print and Cutting file where your printer prints the image so your Cricut cuts it.
